Anna Markomanolaki gained her dentistry qualification in 1983, from the University of Athens in Greece. Soon after this, she completed a post-graduate course in Paediatric Dentistry. Her interest in Orthodontics developed throughout her studies, and she achieved an enhanced level of skills and knowledge over 20 years whilst working together with specialist orthodontists at a private practice in Crete, which she co-owns.
Anna has been involved in presenting at congresses and seminars in Greece, as well as preparing courses. She has worked in Britain for over 10 years, and is passionate when it comes to applying her successful and diligent orthodontic skills to her patients’ needs. She carries out her practise in a gentle manner with incredible enthusiasm.
Over the last 10 years, Anna’s knowledge in modern orthodontic techniques such as the Inman Aligner, passive ligation systems, FastBraces and invisible braces has expanded vastly as she has gained a great wealth of experience in working with these systems.
Anna advocates holistic living and in her spare time enjoys swimming. She likes to spend her free time studying psychology and partaking in artistic projects such as painting and creating sculptures.
